Courses & Workshops

In September 2005, the Bureau of Justice Assistance has provided funding to NJC to educate judges in state-specific trainings. In 2007, NJC provided education to Nebraska, Arizona, Tennessee and Oklahoma. The class was extended to be three days in length. In February of 2008 there was a capital case session for Louisiana.

Besides the education provided under this grant, The National Judicial College also annually offers a 4-day class entitled Handling Capital Cases (JS 623).

In 2009, Handling Capital Cases (JS 623) will be held on November 1-5 in Naples, FL. For more information visit the NJC website.
